  • 2/3 of all deaths are 2ndary to diseases of Western Standard American Diet (SAD) & Lifestyle (CAD, CVA, CA, DM)
  • 68% of American Adults are obese
  • 20% of American Children are obese

  • Use Food As Medicine! —A diet made up of Anti-Inflammatory foods can be a powerful healing and health promoting tool. —
  • Inflammation is associated with chronic conditions such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and asthma.
  • —Many foods, acting alone and in combinations, decrease inflammation, LDL-cholesterol and may help prevent cancers, diabetes, and even cognitive decline…

  • —9 fruits and vegetables per day!
  • —Incorporation of a large number of anti-inflammatory herbs, spices, nuts, seeds, and whole grains, which have phytonutrients that have potent healing properties, as well as red wine, etc
  • —Dairy products, fish and poultry are consumed in low to moderate amounts, and little red meat is eaten (increase ratio of omega 3 fats)
  • —Lower heart disease/inflammatory disorders in Mediterranean countries may also be attributable too
