With the holiday season in full swing, simple, flavorful recipes for dinner parties are a necessity!   Primal Kitchen® has a full line of uncompromisingly delicious and nutrient-dense condiments, dressings/marinades, avocado oils, collagen protein bars and protein shakes that are full of heart-healthy, natural fats, clean protein, and ingredients rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Primal Kitchen products are unlike any others that you’ll find in the grocery store. They are nutrient dense, meaning that calorie for calorie, they offer more essential nutrition than cheaper, mass-marketed alternatives. The entire collection aims to exquisitely satiate while also packing beneficial fats, high quality, clean protein and nutritional ingredients—like avocado oil, collagen, oil of oregano and apple cider vinegar—that are always free of dairy, gluten, grain, refined sugar and soy. Why avocado oil you ask? Avocado oil is, without a doubt, one of the healthiest and most versatile oils on the planet. With a nutritional profile similar to that of olive oil, but with an arguably better taste and greater cooking adaptability, avocado oil is made up of nearly 70% oleic acid, the monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid that launched olive oil to superstar status. All Primal Kitchen dressings are made with 100% pure avocado oil and filled with high-ORAC scoring, antioxidant rich herbs and spices. Soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free, our products don’t just make amazing dressings and marinades, they add nutrients while filling your plate with flavor. Toast friends to good health and uncompromisingly delicious flavor with these two delicious recipes:

 Balsamic-braised Cabbage Instructions:
  1. Warm up the Primal Kitchen® Avocado Oil in a large fry pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and a pinch of salt. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent (5 to 7 minutes).
  3. Add the honey to the fry pan, and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the apple slices and Primal Kitchen® Balsamic Vinaigrette, increase the heat to medium-high, and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

  7. Return the liquid to a boil, and then immediately reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer the pan for about 10 minutes, or until the liquid begins to reduce.

  11. Add an extra pinch of salt and pepper, if needed.
