The VNA Health Group's Community Partner Award is given in recognition of exemplary contributions and commitment to donating items to students who volunteer within the Asbury Park community. The organization will bestow the award to Dean's at their 2016 Awards Reception held at the Asbury Park High School. The VNA Health Group is New Jersey’s largest not-for-profit visiting nursing association and visiting physician service. For more than 100 years they have been committed to serving children, older adults and those with disabling and chronic illness or facing end of life. The SPOT is a School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP) that is funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) in collaboration with our managing agency, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, with an in kind contribution from the Asbury Park Public Schools. The mission of the SBYSP is to provide a variety of year-round intervention and supportive services to students in grades 9 through 12 at Asbury Park High School (APHS).
